Our founder, Mia-Alani Matsubara, first had the idea to create this nonprofit due to the realization that she came to know about the severity of this condition and its importance while conducting research at Georgia State University.

Even after an entire century of scientists tirelessly trying to make sense of Alzheimer’s and its implications, two truths remain: there is no known cause or cure. The mystery and complications behind this condition inspired Mia-Alani to devote her time toward her goal of helping someone be the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.
Even though she may not possess the same knowledge and skill as doctors and leading researchers, she wants to contribute to the improvement, understanding, prevention, and ultimately cure of Alzheimer’s to the best of her ability alongside other eager youth who also wish to change the world one connection at a time.
