Volunteer Coordinator
Jefferson Fang is a first-year student at NYU with academic interests in psychology, aging, and social impact.
He serves as Volunteer Coordinator for Forget Me Never Foundation’s NYU/NJ efforts, helping recruit and organize student volunteers to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s and related conditions.
Jefferson is passionate about dignity in aging, community-based care, and creating meaningful connections across generations.
Las Vegas Facility Lead
Julea Hofilena is a facility leader at Heritage Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is a freshman at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, majoring in Applied Health Sciences with a dental concentration, with aspirations of becoming a dentist.
Julea is an active member of the UNLV Pre-Dental Society and the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for house plants, and collecting trinkets.
Julea has been involved with the Forget Me Never Foundation as a volunteer from June 2024 to June 2025 and has served as a facility leader since August 2025.
As a volunteer, she contributed 15.5 hours to the foundation, including 11.5 hours at Heritage Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care and 4 hours working with the 2024–2025 National Honor Society Chapter at Southwest Career & Technical Academy and the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at Cleveland Clinic.
As a facility leader, she has contributed 8 hours to the foundation, with 5 hours spent at Heritage Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care and 3 hours dedicated to planning activities, completing visit log forms, and organizing supplies.
She has also recruited three volunteers.
Digital Medias Manager
Milan Matsubara is a high school student at K12 Private Academy with a strong interest in law, criminology, and criminal justice, and she aspires to pursue a future career in law.
She currently serves as the Digital Medias Manager and Lead Volunteer at Forget Me Never Foundation, where she manages the organization’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram and TikTok.
In addition to her digital work, Milan assists with senior activities, with a special focus on painting and creative engagement.
Outside of volunteering, she enjoys competitive show jumping, baking and cooking, and traveling.
Las Vegas Facility Lead
Hello! My name is Solia Carrol and I am in 12th grade. I am a competitive gymnast who loves to be active. I love traveling, going to the beach, and especially surfing! I plan on attending a University (undecided) in the fall while majoring in Nursing!
I am a Facility Director for the Forget Me Never Foundation. My role here has been life changing. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to visit the residents each week while assisting them in specialized activities. Seeing each resident’s progress since we have been coming has filled me with so much gratitude and joy and has helped me realize how much of an impact we have on each resident.
